Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve evaluating methods which enables the measurement of a force to draw a split sleeve and has measurement values being varied by humidity or surface conditions. SOLUTION: In the method which evaluates a tightening force of the split sleeve 1 used for optical connectors, a reference ferrule is inserted into the split sleeve 1, and a spread value of a split section 5 is measured, and then the split section 5 is widened by a jig 8 so that its spread value is identical to that by the reference ferrule, and a force acting on the jig 8 at this time is evaluated as the tightening force.
