COMPRESSOR DEVICE AND ITS CONTROL METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compressor device allowing the standardization of low to high output engines in the same specification by preventing the stall of a great displacement compressor with the low output engine, and its control method. SOLUTION: The compressor device comprises a compressor 100 having discharge displacement varying mechanisms 5, 37 for varying a discharge displacement and a control device 300 for operating the discharge displacement varying mechanisms 5, 37 with the supply of an electric signal traffic corresponding to the thermal load of a refrigerating cycle device 200 to vary the discharge displacement of the compressor 100. When the number of revolutions of a vehicle engine 1 is a first preset number of revolutions A or smaller, the control device 300 restricts a first upper limit value for the electric signal traffic between 1% and 100% of a first change maximum value α in supplying electric signals to the discharge displacement varying mechanisms 5, 37.
