Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for manufacturing a ground improving material, and more specifically a method and apparatus for manufacturing a ground improving material suitable for vegetation from paper sludge ashes inexpensively, efficiently and with little burden on the environment. SOLUTION: Paper sludge ashes and water are put into a vessel body 12, the mixture 11 is well agitated with agitating blades 16, and carbon dioxide is added under pressure into the vessel body 12 to perform a neutralizing treatment. After the neutralization, the paper sludge ashes are taken out, subjected to a drying step to evaporate most of the moisture in order to obtain the ground improving material. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
