AQUEOUS RESIN DISPERSION FOR FLOOR, AND FLOOR POLISHING COMPOSITION USING IT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floor polishing composition which is excellent in gloss, resistance to black heel mark (BHM), resistance to scuffing, and storage stability, has good releasability, adhesiveness, anti-staining properties and water resistance in particular, is free from e.g. a sick house syndrome since no aromatic vinyl monomer is used in the aqueous resin dispersion for floor polishing, and is excellent in environmental safety since metal crosslinking is not used therein. SOLUTION: This aqueous resin dispersion for a floor comprises an aqueous dispersion of a copolymer consisting of (a) vinyl monomer units having an alicyclic structure, (b) carboxy-group containing vinyl monomer units, and (c) non-aromatic vinyl monomer units other than units (a) and units (b), the amounts of the monomer units (a), (b) and (c) respectively being 1-70 mass%, 5-50 mass% and 5-90 mass% based on the whole monomer units.
