METAL PROCESSING OIL COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal processing oil ensuring sufficiently high processability without using a chlorine-containing extreme pressure agent. SOLUTION: The metal processing oil composition comprises as a base oil at least one selected among a mineral oil, a synthetic oil and oils and fats and contains (A) 0.1-50 mass% of at least one compound selected from the group consisting of a metal salt and an amine salt of a phosphorus compound represented by formula (1) or formula (2) and (B) 0.1-60 mass% of a sulfur-containing extreme pressure agent. In formulae (1) and (2), X1-X3are each an oxygen atom or a sulfur atom; R1-R3are each a hydrogen atom or a 1-30C hydrocarbon group; X4-X7are each an oxygen atom or a sulfur atom; R4-R6are each a hydrogen atom or a 1-30C hydrocarbon group; at least two of X1-X3are each an oxygen atom; and at least three of X4-X7are each an oxygen atom.
