APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CONVEYING FRIED FOOD AS WELL AS DRAINING OIL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for conveying fried food as well as draining oil, with which the food is carried securely without receiving any damage on a conveying process and space-saving is realized, and to provide a method thereof. SOLUTION: A carrying-out conveyer 4 is provided with driven rotary wheels 8a, 8b composed of a plurality of sprockets or pulleys spaced apart at an interval each other in the horizontal direction. An upper side belt 9a of a driven endless belt 9 which is wrapped to the plurality of driven rotary wheels 8a, 8b, faces a lower side belt 6b of a main drive belt 6 of a fryer conveyer 2, and carries out the foods 7 which drop down from the lower side belt 6b of the main drive belt 6 in the returning direction X1 for the time being. A polygonal drum 12 has a function for turning over the foods 7 with respect to the running direction of the upper side belt 9a of the driven belt 9, and is formed with six plane surface parts 11 in the peripheral direction with equal angle pitches of 60 degrees.
