STORAGE NETWORK SYSTEM, CONNECTION SWITCHING DEVICE, ACCESS CONTROL METHOD, AND PROGRAM THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the processing burden to a host computer 200 by eliminating a need of (mount) processing of recognizing a logical device 500 by an OS of the host computer 200 at movement of the logical device or change of an access path. SOLUTION: A connection switching device controls connection between computers and storage devices, which constitute a storage network. The connection switching device has a device movement means which accepts a movement request for moving contents recorded in a storage device to another storage device, a movement source identifier for identifying the storage device being the movement source, and a movement destination identifier for identifying the storage device being the movement destination, an access destination identifier conversion means which converts the movement source identifier to the movement destination identifier in accepting an access request wherein an access destination identifier for identifying a storage device being an access destination is the movement source identifier, from a computer, and a transmission part which transmits the access request including the converted movement destination identifier to a storage device.
