TIMING BELT TENSION MEASURING TOOL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a timing belt tension measuring tool capable of correctly measuring tension of a timing belt in a condition that a tension measurement error or a measurement variation due to torque fluctuation of a cam shaft is eliminated, resulting in standardization of measurement and reduction in the manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: This timing belt tension measuring tool 30 has a button clamp stopper pin 58 and comprises a rotary tool 32 attached to a crankshaft 12, a linear main body 34 pressed along a timing belt 20 between a drive pulley 14 and a driven pulley 16, a guide member 36 engaged with the rotary tool 32 and controlling a bias range of a stopper pin 58 by rotation of the rotary tool 32 in a clockwise direction and a counterclockwise direction, a load applying mechanism 38 applying a specified load to the timing belt 20, and a dial gauge 40 measuring the displacement of the timing belt 20.
