Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a superconductive magnet which can generate a highly uniform transverse magnetic field with a reduced magnetic field gradient within a bore, and an apparatus and method for pulling up a single crystal capable of pulling up the high-quality single crystal at a good yield by using the superconducting magnet. SOLUTION: The superconducting magnet built-in with superconducting coils 4 within a cooling vessel 19 of a cylindrical shape is arranged with the superconducting coils 4 on a plane within the cooling vessel. The respective superconducting coils arranged therein are set to directions where the foils face each other across the axial center of the cooling vessel and the disposition angles θ at which one pair each adjacent to each other of the superconducting coils face each other toward the inner side of the cooling vessel are set in a range from 100 to 130°.
