SHRINK WRAPPING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shrink wrapping apparatus, which enables a rapid and consecutive shrink wrapping process and prevents projected corners of a wrapping film from projecting from a wrapped article. SOLUTION: The shrink pack wrapping apparatus 1 comprises a transfer means 2 for transferring rectangular, bag-shaped thermally shrinkable films F in each of which the article P is wrapped up, and a heating means 3 for heating each thermally shrinkable film F. The transfer means 2 is a belt conveyor, which comprises a drive rotating wheel 20, a driven rotating wheel 21, and an endless belt 22 wound on both rotating wheels. The heating means 3 comprises a main heating means 4 for heating the whole of the film F, a spot heating means 5 for heating only the projected corners E of the film F, and a following means 6 for making the spot heating means 5 follow the film F that is transferred by the transfer means 2.
