Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent closing of a catalyst and to detect an abnormality of an upstream instrument. SOLUTION: In the exhaust gas treatment device having a catalyst layer for removing a harmful substance contained in the exhaust gas in an exhaust gas flow passage, a filter for capturing a solid substance contained in the exhaust gas is provided at an upstream side of the catalyst layer, and a pressure difference indication means for indicating a difference in pressure of the exhaust gas flow passage at the upstream side and the downstream side of the filter is also provided.
