Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical aspirator that can be surely and easily restarted, sufficiently considers the prevention of contaminations to other patients and is useful especially to percutaneous thrombectomy. SOLUTION: This medical aspirator 10 includes an aspiration opening 12, a reciprocating motor-driven pump 14 to perform a decompressive aspiration, a ventilation channel 16 connecting the aspiration opening 12 and the motor-driven pump 14, an exhaust outlet 18, and an atmospheric pressure release valve 20 atmospherically releasing negative pressure in the ventilation channel 16. Especially, since intended for percutaneous thrombectomy, the aspirator uses a diaphragm pump as the motor-driven pump 14 and an electromagnetic valve as the atmospheric pressure release valve 20. Especially, the atmospheric pressure release valve 20 is opened and closed by linking with the stop and start of the motor-driven pump 14, and a battery is provided for an internal power source.
