AUTOMATIC BLOOD RETURN SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic blood return system that can be easily and simply operated in a manner that does not cause any contamination and malpractices and does not impose a burden on medical care workers when blood is returned to a patient after the end of hemodialysis. SOLUTION: This automatic blood return system has an artery side circuit 1, a vein side circuit 10, a liquid replenishing line 5 for replenishing liquids. The artery side circuit has an artery chamber 4, a blood delivery means 3, and a bubble detection means 6. The vein side circuit has a vein chamber 11, a bubble detection means 12 and an opening and closing means 13 opening and closing the vein side circuit. The liquid replenishing line branching from the upper portion of the vein chamber has a replenishing liquid supply source 7 and a liquid delivery means 8 to send replacement liquid to the circuit. The blood delivery means, the liquid delivery means and the vein side circuit opening and closing means are connected by a linking control means 16 controlling these three means linked.
