GARBAGE COLLECTING DEVICE FOR DISHWASHER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve washing performance by avoiding discharging of garbage of a prescribed size to a drain pipe without regard to the mesh of a filter in a dishwasher, with respect to a garbage collecting apparatus for the dishwasher which collects the garbage from dishes when the dishwasher is operated. SOLUTION: A first filter 16 is positioned on the lower surface of the washing tub 1 of the dishwasher A to collect the garbage included in washing water, and the washing water having passed through the first filter 16 is drained to a sink 17 via drain hoses 9a and 9b. A second filter 20 for collecting the garbage included in the washing water is disposed in a sink trap case 18 provided at the sink 17. The second filter 20 has a mesh of prescribed roughness, and the first filter 16 has mesh rougher than that of the second filter 20. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
