COLOR CORRECTION DEVICE AND COLOR CORRECTION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color correction device capable of easily correcting a spectral color such as spectral reflectivity, spectral transmissivity, spectral radiation brightness, and spectral luminance. SOLUTION: To correct a color of spectral color image data, a spectral color is converted to a color space of a lower dimension than an original dimension so as to correct the color in the color space at the lower dimension and generate a spectral color of an appropriate dimension based on the converted low-dimensional color. To improve the vividness through the color correction, the spectral color is converted so as to have a narrower wavelength band.
