Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an active control mixer capable of continuously adjusting the flow passage area of a mixer element and a liquid rocket engine equipped with the mixer. SOLUTION: This active control mixer for mixing a first fluid with a second fluid by introducing the first fluid into a mixing chamber through the mixer element comprises a mixer case having the mixing chamber, a fluid outlet part, a second fluid inlet part, and a fluid inlet opening, a first tubular member fitted to the fluid inlet opening of the mixer case and having a tip extending in the mixing chamber, a second tubular member installed on the inner peripheral surface of the first tubular member so as to be axially moved and having a tip extending in the mixing chamber, a third tubular member fixed to the first tubular member, installed on the outer peripheral surface of the second tubular member so as to be axially moved, having a tip extending in the mixing chamber, and having a rear end forming the first fluid inlet part, and an axially moving actuator of the second tubular member. Any of these tubular members is closed at the tip thereof, has a porous part at the tip side thereof, and forms the mixer element to adjust an opening ratio by the width thereof overlapped with the other tubular member.
