Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized directional coupler and an electronic apparatus employing the same. SOLUTION: The directional coupler has transmission lines 33, 34 and a coupling line 35 coupled to the transmission lines wherein the transmission lines and the coupling line are placed at positions not opposed to each other in a lateral direction. Thus, a desired degree of coupling can be obtained in spite of the transmission lines and the coupling line that are physically closely arranged.
