SEAL STRUCTURE OF CONNECTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a lip of a seal ring from biting. SOLUTION: A seal between both housings 10, 20 is made because the seal ring 40 mounted on the circumference of the proximal end side of a tower part 22 of harness side housing 20 is adhered to the inner circumference of a fitting part 12 of opening brim side in the fitting recess part 11 of the equipment side housing 10. At the center part of widthwise direction in the circumferential face 40A of the seal ring 40, one strip of outer lip 41 is peripherally installed, in other words, the outer lip 41 is formed separated underneath from the upper brim at the circumferential face 40A. By this, deformable region 43 to allow that the outer lip 41 remained underneath from the upper brim of the circumferential face 40A is crush-deformed, is secured. When the seal ring 40 is pushed into the fitting part 12 and the tower part 22 is chattered in the fitting recess part 11, there is no risk that the outer lip 41 is dislodged from the opening brim of the fitting part 12.
