Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an actuator locking system for a hard disk drive, which is formed to bring a metallic strip disposed at the actuator into sure contact with a bending section disposed at a yoke and can more stably lock the actuator. SOLUTION: The actuator locking system 160 is so formed that the top surface of a contacting part 164 is lower than the top surface of a lower yoke 151. As a result, the lower portion of a slot 167 of the bending section 166 coming into contact with the top surface of the contacting part 164 can be made thicker than heretofore and therefore the rigidity of the lower portion thereof is enhanced. Consequently, the lower portion of the slot 167 of the bending section 166 is prevented from being bent. The metallic strip and the bending section are more surely contacted and the adhesion force between them is intensified and therefore the stable locking of the actuator is made possible.
