Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display element having higher productivity than a conventional one. SOLUTION: The display element has a TFT substrate 100a and a counter substrate 100b opposed to each other, a liquid crystal layer 30 provided therebetween, a sealing part 40 adhesively bonding the TFT substrate 100a and the counter substrate 100b to each other and surrounding the liquid crystal 30 and a dielectric layer 50 provided on the TFT substrate 100a so as to be adjacent to and coming in contact with the sealing part 40. The adhesion force of the dielectric layer 50 to the TFT substrate 100a is stronger than the adhesive force of the sealing part 40 to the TFT substrate 100a. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
