Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymeric wire or the like that is easily and safely processable and that can safely be discarded and preferably has biodegradability, to provide a votive light device and a decorative article or a toy using the polymeric wire or the like and a process for producing the votive light device and the decorative article or the toy and to provide a method for effectively utilizing a waste polyester. SOLUTION: The polymeric wire or sheet is produced by molding a polymer composition comprising (A) a specific polymer compound such as a polyester or the like, (B) a polyoxyethylene-based polymer and (C) a specific cellulosic material and/or a specific silica or a silicate material. The votive light device using the polymeric wire or sheet as a support of the outer peripheral part of the votive light device and the process for producing the votive light device are provided.
