MODIFIED GYPSUM DIHYDRATE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a modified gypsum dihydrate obtained by modifying wet gypsum dehydrate to be suitably used for the manufacture of cement, a building material, a solidifying material or the like, to be more concretely, manufactured from the wet gypsum dihydrate and having few aggregated particles of gypsum crystal and excellent powder fluidity of itself and capable of giving a building material powdery product having excellent powder fluidity, hardening property and solidification performance as one structural component. SOLUTION: The modified gypsum dihydrate is manufactured by adding quick lime-based treating agent into the wet gypsum dihydrate, stirring and mixing with each other and containing 3-20 mass% calcium hydroxide, ≤1.5 mass% free water and the balance impurities originating from raw materials.
