Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To split the sector mold of a tire vulcanization molding mold into a plurality of sectional parts, then form a slit with a desired width between the adjacent sectional parts and effectively discharge only air from recessed parts in a mold face so as to ensure the efficient cleaning of a rubber material accumulated in the slit in a short time. SOLUTION: The sector mold is split into a plurality of the sectional parts along a dividing line extending in a tire width direction, traversing a plurality of recessed parts surrounded by projecting strips formed in a mold face in order to form the tread pattern of an outer peripheral face of a tire. Contact parts at right angles with the circumferential direction of the tire are formed in the dividing line and an inclined part which tilts by a specified angle in the circumferential direction of the tire is formed in each recessed part. After cutting the sector mold in a cutting groove with a set width along the dividing line, the sector mold structure is constituted by bringing the cut sectional parts into contact with each other at the adjacent parting lines of the contact parts by controlling a relative displacement in the tire width direction.
