TREATMENT PERFORMANCE MONITORING SYSTEM FOR BIOLOGICAL TREATMENT DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment performance monitoring method and device for a biological treatment device which require low maintenance costs without using an expensive chemicals. SOLUTION: In an ordinary biological treatment device 1 which comprises a biological reaction tank 11 for receiving raw water (a) of organic waste water, and a settling tank 12 for separating sludge from the biologically treated water (c) to obtain treated water (d), and the like, and separates the separated and precipitated sludge into return sludge (e) and surplus sludge (f) discharged to the outside a system, for example, the raw water (a) and treated water (d), are extracted from the biological treatment device 1 as sample water and an oxygen utilization rate constant [Kr(20)] is measured by the treatment performance monitoring device 2 and a computing unit 4 to estimate BOD, and the treatment performance of the biological treatment device 1 is monitored from the comparison of them.
