Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing rod which has rich operability and has a grip maintaining a texture and a touch and having an excellent mechanical strength and the like. SOLUTION: The rear grip 6 of the fishing rod is a cylindrical member prepared by blending a rubber such as NBR with cork particles formed by crushing natural cork raw material. The mixture is molded in a prescribed cylindrical shape, and then the surface of the molded product is polished to expose the cork particles on the peripheral surface of the molded product.
