Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate problems that seedlings are desperately moved by vibration, and the like, of seedling-transversely feeding belts themselves during transverse feed of the seedlings and sometimes the seedlings are rolled and moved to disturb the posture and cannot be delivered in a proper posture to a transportation starting end for a seedling transplanting apparatus especially when a bed soil part of the seedlings is in a circular cylindrical shape, though the seedling-transversely feeding belts conventoinally receive the seedlings taken out of a seedling holder and tranversely feed the seedlings in a state thereof carried in a sideway fallen posture. SOLUTION: The seedling transplanter comprises the seedling-transversely feeding belts 32 for receiving the seedlings taken out of the seedling holder 31, transversely feeding the received seedlings to specific positions and then delivering the seedlings to the transportation starting end for the seedling transplanting apparatus. The outer peripheral surfaces of the seedling-transversely feeding belts 32 are provided with seedling engaging and holding recessed parts 32g for engaging and holding the received seedlings in intervals of transversely feeding protrusions 32c protrusively installed at a prescribed interval in the belt rotative direction.
