PRODUCT ID INFORMATION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR ID CHIP-EQUIPPED ELECTRICAL INSTRUMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a product ID information management system for an ID chip-equipped electric instrument product optimum for managing the product ID information for the purchased ID chip-equipped electrical instrument. SOLUTION: A product ID information management system S for an ID chip equipped electrical instrument connects a portable telephone set 1 and a personal computer 20 at a transfer destination 2 through a communication circuit 3. The portable telephone set 1 reads the product ID information registered in an ID chip 5 additionally provided on a product 40 of an electrical instrument 4, and transmits the product ID information of the product 40 of the electrical instrument 4 read from the ID chip 5 to the personal computer 20 at the transfer destination 2. The personal computer 20 at the transfer destination 2 registers the product ID information of the product 40 of the electrical instrument 4 transmitted from the portable telephone set 1 in a data base 21.
