Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the light emitting efficiency of an upper surface light emission type organic electroluminescent element by adopting an anode of a multi-layer structure composed of a hole injection electrode layer and a reflection film layer, injecting a hole into the organic layer from the hole injection electrode layer, and reflecting light produced by a luminous layer in the direction of a cathode by the reflection film layer having high reflectance. SOLUTION: The organic electroluminescence element comprises a first anode 301 formed on a substrate 308 and having a reflectance of at least 60%, a second anode formed on the first anode and composed of a conductive metal having a work function within a range of 4.3-5.8 eV or its oxide, and organic films (303-306) formed on the second anode and a cathode 307 formed on the organic film.
