BUILT-IN DEVICE AND NETWORK CONSTRUCTING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable communication with an administrative computer even for a LAN functional fault of a processor board in a system for incorporating a plurality of processors. SOLUTION: A built-in device is provided with a plurality of processor boards 110, 120, and 130 equipped with LAN functions, a main LAN 150 for connecting the processor boards, the administrative computer 140 connected to the main LAN, and a shared memory 160 among the processor boards. In order to enable communication between the administrative computer and the processor boards even when the LAN functions fail, the processor boards are provided with backplane LAN functions 112, 122, and 132 for constructing constructing a backplane LAN 161 in the shared memory, proxy response functions 113, 123, and 133 for performing communication path control between the backplane LAN and the main LAN, and transferring functions of proxy response 114, 124, and 134 for controlling proxy response functions in accordance with requests from other processor boards.
