Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for evaluating and testing a metal gasket which merge a static calibration test. SOLUTION: This device for evaluating and testing a metal gasket is provided with; a horizontal direction calibration testing device which holds a toroidal metal gasket 3 between a first metal flange member 1 and a second metal flange member 2, the first metal flange member 1 and the second metal flange member 2 tightened by a plurality of bolts 4, and requires the static relation between the displacement in the horizontal direction between the first metal flange member 1 and the second metal flange member 2 when loading static load in the horizontal direction of the first metal flange member 1 or the second metal flange member 2 and the distortion of the gasket 3, or the shaft force or the distortion of the bolt 4; and a dynamic horizontal direction lag testing device which requires the dynamic relation between the distortion of the gasket 3, or the shaft force or the distortion of the bolt 4 and time after loading dynamic load in the horizontal direction of the first metal flange member 1 or the second metal flange member 2.
