Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To absorb the variation of tension at the inlet side and outlet side of an annealing furnace as the variation of the amount of float-up of a steel strip. SOLUTION: A floater 2 has air spouting holes on the peripheral surface and changing the traveling direction of the steel strip S by guiding the strip along the above peripheral surface in a state of supporting the float-up of the spirally wound steel strip S with the air pressure spouted from the air spouting holes, and is disposed at the outlet side of the annealing furnace 1 to absorb the variation of the tension of the steel strip S as the variation of the amount of the float-up of the steel strip S passed through over the peripheral surface.
