ADHESIVE FOR ROOM DIVIDER PANEL AND JOINING STRUCTURE THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive adhesive for a room divider panel excellent in execution properties and capable of ensuring fire resistance, and the joining structure of the room divider panel. SOLUTION: The adhesive for the room divider panel contains an acrylic resin emulsion and calcium carbonate. The ratio of calcium carbonate becomes 50 to 75% with respect to the weight of the adhesive for the room divider panel after curing. The viscosity of the adhesive is 30 to 60 mPa s and the tensile strength thereof at the time of curing is not more than 0.5 N/mm2. Further, this adhesive is preferably adapted to the joined part of a rabbet joint structure for fitting the recessed part provided to the end surface of one panel and the protruded part provided to the end surface of another panel. By this constitution, the adhesive for the room divider panel low in cost, excellent in execution properties and capable of ensuring fire resistance and the joint structure of the room divider panel are provided.
