Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive artificial marble having excellent mechanical characteristics. SOLUTION: The artificial marble is obtained by polymerizing and curing a composition containing 10-90% resin component (A) such as syrup, or the like, comprising methyl methacrylate, other comonomers and their polymers, 10-90% inorganic filling material (B) comprising aluminum hydroxide, magnesium hydroxide, calcium carbonate or silica, and a methacryloyloxy-group-containing phosphate (C) expressed by formula (1) (wherein, R1is H or CH3; R2is 1-6C alkyl; and n is 1 or 2) in an amount of 0.01-5 parts per 100 parts of the inorganic filling material (B).
