Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the pH value of ion water constant by improving the point at issue that the electric resistance value of tap water is determined by the amount of impurities such as magnesium, chlorine, iron or the like contained in tap water but the amount of impurities is not always constant, even if a constant amount of electrolysis aiding solution is added, the pH value of electrolyzed ion water changes. SOLUTION: An electrolysis aiding liquid from an electrolysis aiding liquid vessel 18 is added to tap water from a water service 12 changed in electric resistance value by an electrolysis aiding liquid supply pump 20. Water supplied with the electrolysis aiding liquid is supplied to an ion water maker 2 and a DC constant current is supplied to water from a constant current DC power supply 10 through the positive and negative electrodes 4, 6 provided to the ion water maker 2 to form electrolytic ion water. The value of the voltage applied across the positive and negative electrodes 4 and 6 changed in the pH value of electrolytic ion water is detected by a voltage detector 26 and a pump control device 22 controls the liquid electrolysis aiding supply pump 20 so that the detected voltage becomes the voltage corresponding to the predetermined pH value of ion water.
