VOLATILIZER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a convenient volatilizer which can volatilize effective components contained in a medicinal liquid preparation by simple operation. SOLUTION: This volatilizer 10 houses the liquid preparation L inside and is equipped with a storage vessel 11 with an opening part 14 formed upside, a volatilizing carrier 12, and a shielding member 13 placed so as to prevent the volatilizing carrier 12 from being brought in contact with the liquid preparation L before use. The volatilizing carrier 12 has a long size liquid absorbing part 12a and, a volatilizing part 12b. The shielding member 13 has a cylindrical shape with the closed lower end part so that the liquid absorbing part 12a is inserted thereinto, a projected flange part 15, and a projected part 17 for breaking off the flange part 15 from the shielding member 13 by pushing the shielding member 13 toward the inside of the storage vessel 11 when used.
