COLOR ADJUSTMENT METHOD IN VIDEO IMAGE PROJECTION DEVICE, AND COLOR ADJUSTMENT PROGRAM USED THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conduct color adjustment for a picture projected on a screen from a video image projection device, such as projector, without using sensors, etc. SOLUTION: A color picture closest to a reference color picture 50 is selected from color pictures 51-56 based on visual determination by an observer. In turn, the selected color picture is employed as a reference color picture 57, and fine adjustment is conducted to a color in the reference color picture 57 using color adjustment bars 58 and 59 according to the preference of the observer. A video signal is compared with the finely-adjusted color picture, correction data for correcting the video signal is generated, and the video signal is adjusted based on the correction data to obtain the color-adjusted video signal. A picture based on the color-adjusted video signal is projected on a screen 20 to display a picture 5A after color adjustment. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
