OPTICAL PICKUP DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup device in which occurrence of a restraining protrusion to enter into a support section side is prevented even though a lens holder is moved along a tracking direction caused by vibration. SOLUTION: An extension section 35 is formed in a recessed section 11 of a moving base 10 of the device so that the section 35 is projected toward the upper end of a side direction restraining section 11 opposing to a restraining protrusion 31 along a Z1 direction. The section 35 is inserted into a notch 36 formed on a mounting piece 20a. The protruding size of the section 35 is set so that the section 35 does not come out of the notch 36 when an optical axis is maximumly tilted to an X1 side so that no entering gap is formed for the protrusion 31.
