SILVER HALIDE COLOR PHOTOGRAPHIC SENSITIVE MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silver halide color photographic sensitive material improved in lowering of sensitivity and deterioration of image quality due to natural radiation. SOLUTION: In the silver halide color photographic sensitive material, the highest sensitivity layer of a red- or green-sensitive layer unit contains silver iodide-containing tabular silver halide grains ≥50% of the total projected area of which has an aspect ratio of 15-200, the average thickness a of the tabular silver halide grains is 0.15 μm≤a≤0.25 μm, a silver halide emulsion layer adjacent to the highest sensitivity layer of the red- or green-sensitive layer unit contains silver iodide-containing tabular silver halide grains ≥50% of the total projected area of which has an aspect ratio of 10-200, and the average thickness b of the tabular silver halide grains is 0.9a≤b≤1.1a.
