SOLUTION: The burner structure for blowing pulverized coal fuel into the blast furnace is composed so that the cross sectional shape of the protecting tube 5 internally inserted by the cylindrical burner 4 is elliptically or rectangularly shaped, drawing out of the cylindrical burner 4 with a bent tip is facilitated, and the check valve 6 is spherically formed so it is not a hindrance during drawing out.
