Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an engaged condition of an engagement unit with a second locking unit from being undesirably disengaged in an automatic decompression device of an engine having a first locking unit to maintain a non-decompressed condition when an engagement unit on an outer circumference of a cam shaft is engaged with an inner circumference of a decompression cam and the second locking unit adjacent to the first locking unit so as to realize the decompressed condition when the engagement unit is engaged. SOLUTION: An engagement unit 52 is protruded from an outer circumference of a cam shaft 35, a first locking unit 58 is recessed from an inner circumference of a decompression cam 50, and a second locking unit 59 is recessed from the inner circumference of the decompression cam 50 in a shallower manner than the first locking unit 58 so that a movement regulating surface 59a facing the engagement unit 52 is located on a side surface on the first locking unit 58 side when the second locking unit 59 is moved from the second locking unit 59 of the engagement unit 52 to the first locking unit 58 side.
