Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a polymer film for liquid crystal orientation for obtaining a liquid crystal film in which defect of orientation is outstandingly reduced. SOLUTION: The polymer film for liquid crystal orientation capable of outstandingly reducing a defect of orientation of the liquid crystal film is manufactured by feeding out the polymer film and a polishing film at an unequal speed, contacting it such that both films have a relative speed on a guide roll and polishing a film surface of the polymer film by being pressed to a stage installed on a back surface of at least one film at the time of the contact.
