PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine which operates without deterioration of rinsing performance. SOLUTION: When intermediate dehydration is performed in an unbalance state or a state close to foam constraint during the intermediate dehydration of rinsing or when detecting unbalance or detecting foam constraint when starting intermediate dehydration, a water level during rinsing in stored water is raised or a period of fast rotation for intermediate dehydration is extended. Thus, even in the case of erroneous use by a user (feeding of a larger amount of detergent than usual or the like) or abnormality caused by the state of fabric, rinsing performance similar to that in the case of operation without a problem or abnormality like usual washing, rinsing and dehydration is secured.
