Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain an interruption, a resuming function and an idle mode for a protective mode microprocessor and a hard disk. SOLUTION: This device includes a processor operable in an ordinary mode and low electric power mode, a power source for supplying electric power to the processor, a power button startable by manual operation, a means for discriminating selected one of a first condition and a second condition as a constitutive condition, and a means for responding to the manual operation of the power button for placing the processor in a low electric power state when the constitutive condition is the second condition by inactivating the power source when the constitutive condition is the first condition.
