METHOD AND APPARATUS OF VISUAL INSPECTION OF PACKED FOODSTUFF OR THE LIKE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of the following problem: a sealing section is clicked and clipped in a translucent package film, abnormality in an appearance such as a shape is carried out by viewing, and discrimination processing is left to viewing in packed foodstuffs or the like. SOLUTION: A method and processing work can be automated. In the method, the click and clip to the peripheral film sealing section of a specimen, such as the foodstuffs sealed by the translucent package film continuously moved by a transport conveyer or the like, is detected by optical sensors provided front and back and left and right and time control. In the treatment work, the abnormality in the appearance of the shape of the specimen, such as the foodstuffs, is inspected and discriminated by making visible light irradiated and transmitted from one side of the packed foodstuffs or the like, by fetching it into an imaging apparatus from the opposite surface, and by carrying out image processing.
