Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint for a flexible tube in which insertion status of a flexible tube can be checked by a hand feeling. SOLUTION: The joint for a flexible tube is equipped with the joint body 2, a pressing ring 4 provided to an opening of the joint body 2 and a retainer 6. An annular seal member 26 is accommodated in a seal accommodating part of the joint body 2. The retainer 6 is accommodated in response to the annular recess. A fireproof packing member 28 is accommodated in the packing accommodating part. The retainer 6 is provided with an engaging pawl 42 for expanding and contracting the diameter. When the tip of a corrugated tube 30 is inserted into the joint body 2 through the pressing ring 4, the engaging pawl 42 of the retainer 6 gets over a crest on the tip side of the corrugated tube 30 to be engaged with a trough 66. The crest 32 on the tip side of the corrugated tube 30 projected from the retainer 6 is sealed on the inner peripheral surface of the annular seal member 26. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
