SOLUTION: This filter element 3 is provided with a filter medium 4, and the holding frame 5 holding the filter medium 4. The end face 5a of the holding frame in the direction 1 of passing the air through the filter medium 4 is provided with a holding frame sealing part 8 formed by a groove or a projection extending in the circumferential direction of the holding frame 5.
