Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skin-activating composition for external use which exhibits an excellent skin-beautifying action by increasing skin hillocks and improves a skin feeling after used by suppressing decrease in the skin moisture content. SOLUTION: The skin-activating composition for external use comprises one or more of glucosamine fatty acid amide compounds represented by general formula [I]. The skin-activating composition for external use comprises a glucosamine fatty acid amide compound represented by general formula [I] for increasing the number of skin hillocks or enhancing the use feeling after cleansing and/or brown algae. Preferably, R1to R5are each a hydrogen atom and R6has 11-36 carbon atoms in the general formula [I].
