SOLUTION: The tool is provided with a motor housing 24a, 25a holding a motor 1 with a motor shaft vertically extending, a handle 24c, 25c extending behind and substantially parallel with the motor housing and having a built-in power switch 27, a gear cover 24b, 25b disposed above the handle, an output portion 50 extending forward from a front face of the gear cover and having a front end for rotating a bolt 41 or a nut 43 to be fastened, and a battery 31 disposed beneath the motor housing and the handle in a position striding them with a detachment direction set in the direction parallel with the motor shaft.
