DRIVING METHOD OF DC MOTOR, PAPER FEEDING METHOD, AND PAPER FEEDING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving method of a low-cost DC motor of a simple structure, together with a method and apparatus for feeding paper, capable of precisely stop at a target position with a digital position signal of an encoder having a resolution equal to a positioning resolution. SOLUTION: A motor is supplied, or stopped, with first driving forces PWML5, PWML4 to PWML1 in which the driving force is sequentially reduced stepwise according to a position error from a target position YF, each time a digital position signal YFB is confirmed as the changes from a state L to a state H. Until the state L of the digital position signal YFP is confirmed to have changed to the state H after the first driving forces PWMLs are supplied, the first driving forces PWMLs are increased stepwise.
