APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR POWER SUPPLY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for power supply, capable of protecting a supply terminal from the outside, when an electrical apparatus is not powered. SOLUTION: This apparatus is provided with a sliding member 25, which slides almost in the same direction as that of the operation which an elastic member 27 provided in a space to a housing 26 performs, and a terminal protective member 23, of which one end is brought into contact with the sliding member 25 so as to be movably retained by the sliding member 25 and of which the other end is rotatably fixed on the housing 16 with a fixed portion as its axis and which protects a charger terminal 22 by surrounding it. In fitting a cellular phone 11 onto the housing 26 or removing it from the housing 26, the sliding member 25 is slid, so that the terminal protective member 23 is slid on the sliding member 25, while keeping contact with the sliding member 25 and rotating with the fixed portion as an axis, to expose the charger terminal 22 to the terminal protective member 23 or embed it into the terminal protective member 23.
